Whimsical and mesmerising, these unique sculptural tree installations were created for Ritz Carlton in Almaty, Kazakhstan. 

 

Once bearing the Silk Road caravans, the country represents a cultural crossroad between East and West.  A custom of tying ribbons to the tree branches in a gesture of blessing is present amongst many nations of the region and has long been standing in Kazakhstan.  

 

Inspired by the diverse cultural and historical heritage of the country, lush amber trees embody the fascinating tradition of the past and wish well for the future.
