Handwritten Collection

In collaboration with Accor’s Handwritten Collection Hot Design Folks designed a fully immersive 18sqm guestroom inspired by the charm of Tiong Bahru.

The concept blends nostalgic 1960s detailing with a contemporary approach to compact hospitality design. A dramatic mural integrated into the entrance and bedroom walls serves as the central feature, accentuated by Darklight Linea downlights. The design also introduced an innovative circadian-responsive window that emulates natural daylight, enhancing wellness in a windowless setting. This mock-up showcases how thoughtful spatial planning, lighting, and storytelling can transform a compact room into a functional, stylish, and emotionally resonant guest experience.
